Quite a rare photo this - this is midway around the miniature railway circuit at Ruddington, and this picture was taken during an impromtu photostop following the derailment of the passenger bench! 08512 on May 16th 2009.

According to the driver, this miniature version of London Transport loco no 12 "Sarah Siddons" is one of several replicas of the SAME LOCO in use across the UK. And you thought clearing all the 66s for haulage was mad enough...Tonbridge MES, 26th April 2008.

1279 "Beddgelert" departs Barmouth Ferry with the 1500 to Fairbourne on July 28th 2008. On the left is the (at the time) disused loop, which if used, allows locos to arrive at the station one way and leave in the other, avoiding the need for a loco run-round.

The magnificent Bressingham Steam Railway consists of up to four different locos working on different routes at any one time. Here, 1643 "BRONLLWYD" is seen at the Nursery Railway station with the 1400 departure on 12th April 2008.

Some of the locos based on the North Bay Railway carry a number based on the year they were built. 1932 "Triton" departs Passing Place on 25th July 2009 with the 1615 from Scalby Mills to Peasholm Park. Passing Place, so called as there is a passing loop here, is also known as Beach station, and was closed when this photo was taken.
