90011 departs Birmingham International with the 1715 Birmingham New Street - Euston on July 29th 2000.

In it's interim "Half Virgin" livery soon after it's transfer to the Anglian area, 90014 waits to leave Stratford on June 10th 2005 with the 0940 Norwich - Liverpool Street.

90015 waits to leave Watford Junction with a train to Euston on May 12th 2001.

During the brief period when EWS 90s were used on the GE Main Line to compensate with the run down of the 86s on the route, 90016 arrives at Stratford with a Norwich - Liverpool Street working on 24th January 2004.

Painted in InterCity livery when first delivered, 90017 is now a "rare" EWS machine. It is seen here at Birmingham International on September 15th 1990 whilst pushing the 1618 Birmingham New Street - Euston.

90018 at Euston on January 14th 1989 with the 0820 to Blackpool North.

Whilst several of the Railfreight liveried 90s were taken off of passenger working in 1991, some of the members that were due to eventually become RES machines remained in InterCity colours and continued to work passenger trains. 90019 at Euston with the 0800 to Birmingham New Street on September 28th 1991.

Virgin's reliance on the Pendolino fleet is such that even one set out of service can cause chaos. Loco hauled substitutions have occured on an almost non stop basis since the "end" in 2005. 90020 waits to leave Birmingham New Street on 24th July 2007 with the 1900 to Euston.

90s have never been too rare on the East Coast Main Line, but the appearance of one is still a bonus. 90021 sits at Stevenage on May 25th 1994 whilst propelling the 1635 Newcastle - Kings Cross.

90022 propels the 1424 to Birmingham New Street out of Manchester Piccadilly on December 9th 2004. Despite the rumours that the following day would be the last day 90s worked this service instead of a Voyagers, 90s remained on these services on a regular basis for several more years.

90023 leaves a bitterly cold Euston on February 9th 1991 with the 1330 to Wolverhampton.

One of the more bizarre paint jobs, was putting 90024 into GNER livery for it to then spend most of it's time away from the route. It is seen here having been passed back to EWS ownership at Liverpool Street on 17th April 2004, after working the 0700 from Norwich.
