In some respects, the saviours of bashing on ex-BR metals. It's always good when the gen filters through that the Nuneaton drags will be on for three months soon...
Top bash? 57315 on "real" coaches from Nuneaton to New Street in 2007, although having one of these monsters over the bridge at Saltash as five to midnight is equally awesome.

57/0s don't seem to get much of a run on passenger trains - it seems that as they are
57/0s don't seem to get much of a run on passenger trains - it seems that as they are "new", tour operators and preserved railways seem to steer clear. 57007 got a go at the Keighley 2009 gala, but only after attempts to get a 20 or 1st series 37/5 failed. The Bodysnatcher sits at Oxenhope before working the 1200 Keighley service on June 5th.

In the first few years since it's conversion from a 47, 57314 was a notoriously uncommon loco on the Nuneaton drags. It is seen here arriving at Birmingham New Street on July 2nd 2005 with the 0818 Wolverhampton - Euston. True to form, the loco promptly failed on arrival at Nuneaton!

Two years after the
Two years after the "end" of loco haulage on the London - Birmingham line, and 57315 is seen piloting 90020 on a drag from Nuneaton. The train was the 1156 Euston - Wolverhampton - 22nd July 2007.
