66001 rests at Bridlington on 25th July 2009 after arriving with the "Bridlington Seaside Special" excursion.

66007 arrives at Birmingham New Street on 24th January 2009 with the "Mersey Mancunian", bound for Manchester.

66009 is seen at the Ribble Steam Railway platform in Preston Docks on March 24th 2007, running around the "Ribble Restituor".

66032 runs light out of Birmingham International after arriving with the "Humber Haulier" tour on March 18th 2006.

66035 arrives with the ECS for the "Doctor Syn" railtour at Victoria on May 26th 2007. The loco later top and tailed the tour with 66237.

66039 arrives at Birmingham International on September 4th 2004 with the "Pieces Of Eight" railtour.

66043 & 67005 after double heading the "Grid Arising" tour at Crewe on September 30th 2006. This pairing was a replacement for the booked Freightliner 66. Copyright (C) Richard Jones.

A rather grim Burton On Trent greets 66052 as it arrives with the "Holly & The Ivy" tour on 10th December 2005.

I remember the days when railtours had names like "Power To The Tower" - this tour was simply known as "Long Marston Open Day" because that's where it went to...66060 at journeys end on June 6th 2009.

Several 66s have put in appearances on VSOE tours - which can catch out the "new engine" men. 66063 worked such a trip from Victoria to York on 18th August 2004, and is seen on arrival. Copyright (C) Jon Bradley.

66068 on the outward leg of the "Sandblower" tour to Middleton Towers on October 21st 2006, pictured arriving at Ealing Broadway.

66093 brings the "Ribble Restituor" into Derby on 24th March 2007. Both 66s that featured on this tour had worked passenger trains before, and an "anti-fix" was suspected by those in the know!

66099 at Lowestoft, before working to Saxmundham on the "Suffolk Latch" tour on July 21st 2007.

66100 brings the ECS for the "Suffolk Latch" tour into Fenchurch Street on July 21st 2007. The loco top and tailed with 66099 for the rest of the day.

Another imaginatively titled tour, "The Cambrian Main Line To Aberystwyth" tour arrives at Aberystwyth behind 66101 on June 23rd 2009.

66116 with the "West Somerset Railway" tour from Letchworth to Minehead at Bishops Lydeard on 1st September 2001.

66142 waits to leave Swanage on April 1st 2009 with the "Purbeck Pioneer" - the first through passenger train from Swanage to Waterloo for 37 years (albeit, in railtour form).

66144 at Dereham on March 28th 2009 - the loco was about to be tagged onto the rear of a southbound working in order to double head the 1430 Wymondham Loop - Dereham with 67008. The route ahead is the line to Fakenham, currently closed but a destination the Mid Norfolk Railway look like to extend their line to.

The "Purbeck Pioneer" tour was so popular that a relief tour ran the following day, using the same locos over the same route. 66152 waits to leave Victoria for Swanage on 2nd April 2009.

66157 at Coventry on 10th December 2005.The loco had earlier worked the "Holly & The Ivy" tour from Toton to Birmingham International, and was being dragged "dead in train" by 92038 back to Watford Junction. Copyright (C) Simon Edwards.
