One of the problems with railtours in recent years, is the lack of suitable photting opportunities for those on board. 58024 is caught on film after working one of it's final passenger runs, "The Flower Arranger", running light away from Colchester Yard on 13th July 2002.

BR ran a special from Sheffield to Cleethorpes on 11th April 1992 using Type 5 power. 58026 & 58039 wait to leave Sheffield with the 1055 outward run.

Booked for only a single 58, 58034 & 58050 make an appearance at Derby with the 1600 Leicester - Nottingham - Leicester minitour on 6th September 1992.

One of several BR organised "fixes" over the Settle and Carlisle line in late 1989 and early 1990, 58036 & 47456 wait to leave Carlisle with the 1242 to Leeds on March 3rd 1990.

58037 waits to leave Bedford on April 2nd 1994 with the "Sector Swansong" railtour.

58041 & 58027 are uncoupled from the "Plym Rose" tour at Plymouth on September 15th 1991. The locos ran round here and continued to Plymouth Friary.

58042, making it's second railtour appearance within six months, arrives at Ramsgate with the return ECS for the "Man Of Kent" tour. December 21st 1991.

Action at Stoke On Trent as 58029 & Red Stripe 58047 arrive with the 1745 Llandudno - Derby special on August 11th 1991.

58049 runs round it's train at Peterborough Nene Valley on 8th October 1994, after working in from Wansford.

58050 makes it's passenger debut at Wellingborough on May 21st 1989, as part of the InterCity Diesel Day. The Bone prepares to depart with the 1520 Leicester - St Pancras.

The 1515 Westbury - Cranmore special arrives at journey's end on 21st June 2008 - 59001 is already on the rear in order to work the 1645 return.

A little reported fact is that 59005's first passenger workings were at the Wimbledon Open Day on May 5th 1991, where the loco provided cab rides. In order to officially claim the loco for haulage, it was possible to ride "behind" the loco by travelling in the cab of the loco it was pulling, 50050. The Hoover, at this point carrying it's D400 number again, then pulled the 59 back into the depot.

59101 runs round at Kidderminster Town on May 9th 1992 after working the 1155 from Bridgnorth.
