A little reported fact is that 59005's first passenger workings were at the Wimbledon Open Day on May 5th 1991, where the loco provided cab rides. In order to officially claim the loco for haulage, it was possible to ride "behind" the loco by travelling in the cab of the loco it was pulling, 50050.
